How to update Google Play Store to its latest version

 


Google Play Store is the main source for apps, games and updates on an Android smartphone. However, the Play Store itself is an app and Google, time-to-time, keeps updating it with new features, bug fixes and more. That makes it important to keep the Play Store app updated to its latest version.



Although Google automatically updates the Play Store app, sometimes it might not happen due to several reasons. In that case, users need to install the update manually.

Tap on the profile icon at the top right corner

Choose ‘Settings’ option and then tap on ‘About’

Now, look for ‘Play Store version’ section and tap on ‘Update Play Store’ button



That’s it. Once the update is installed, your phone will have the latest version of the Google Play Store.
